About Bobby George

Based in Yampa, Colorado, Bobby George is a fourth-generation rancher and a former Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter and district president. He holds an American FFA degree from the National FFA Convention and Expo. His mission as the owner of G-Five Ranch is to raise high-elevation beef and grow the highest quality hay crops each year. Bobby George has extensive experience in all areas of ranch operations, ranging from machine maintenance to hiring and training employees. A few of his specific duties include shearing sheep ahead of the summer heat and managing back-hoe activities at the ranch.

An article in Steamboat Today recognized Bobby George and the G-Five Ranch’s activities in areas of a conservation easement. His passion for ranching has extended to the next generation of Georges, with his daughters winning several National rodeo awards. In addition to his history with FFA, Bobby George is affiliated with professional organizations such as Colorado CattleWomen and various conservation easement companies.
